I have put the current page on an "about.html" page made a new
top page. but the short statement will probably need some
reflexion, will have to wait until I (or someone else) is
inspired.

Done on the top page.

I found it on the web, I am not sure it is legal to use it.
It is probably good to try to reconstruct a similar picture
from scratch, but it is beyond my competence.
Eric Raymond was in town last week and I want to his talk. He
applauded the idea of the pinguin for linux and said that
the community needed symbols like that. So I was thinking
about a fitting animal for up. I first thought of the owl,
and spend several hours looking for a good picture of an
owl. Then the idea of the spider occured to me. It is an animal
that is less likely to be adopted by anyone else, but has
a web weaving connotation that is quite fitting. We can also
portray spider and web in different situations.
