RePEc is emerging from the Summer vacation with various novelties in 
planning. Two are already operational:

1) IDEAS and EconPapers offer now plug-ins for various browsers to allow 
searches directly from browser tool bars or menus. See

http://econpapers.repec.org/FAQ.htm#tools

2) Rankings continue to expand and know include one for female economists, 
see http://ideas.repec.org/top/top.women.html

In terms of traffic, 381,792 file downloads and 1,522,408 abstract views 
over the month. It reawakens slowly after the Summer lull. And fiunally, 
the following thresholds were passed:

4000000 downloads through EconPapers
300000  items online
190000  items claimed in author profiles
170000  online articles
80000   items with references
75000   article abstracts
75000   JEL classified papers
12000   NEP reports
1600    working paper series
