Hello all!

the big news this month is that the 400th archive joined RePEc. Other 
developments where that the instructions for opening an archive have been 
completely rewritten, see http://ideas.repec.org/stepbystep.html.

In terms of statistics, there have been 279,884 file downloads and 
1,083,925 abstract views in September 2004.

And the traditional list of benchmarks reached during the month:
