[RAS] the disk is too small

  mysql was down. 

  I am compressing bdb data to get the machine running through a
  backup. That data is vital if the service is to be restored.

  Don't do any work involving acis until we have thhe 
  bdb running. Go to the machine room with a portable
  terabyte disk, and connect it.
