[RAS] RAS down

Logged in, seems it works fine, but on log out I got an internal server 
error. Looking at files I  see

aras at nebka:~/acis/userdata$ ls -ralt 
c/h/christian.zimmermann\@uconn.edu.xml*

c/h/christian.zimmermann at uconn.edu.xml.lock

And as I try to log back in, it says I am still logged in. So I follow the 
link and then only I manage to log out successfully.

I managed to replicate this once more. I suspect something is fishy with 
lock files. I had reports of such things happening in the past week or 
two. I solved them all by removing the lock file.
