  We have crontabbed

33 2 * * * /home/aras/acis/bin/updareq RePEc / 1000000000

  and that fails to include some recent files, as CZ has
  been complaining about for some time now. I agree my
  approach is a cludge.

  Yeah, but it is done at rsync time, so at that time you will
  monitor anyway.
